7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my son’s third year at this school. He is a second grader student now. He has ADHD and the teacher he had at kindergarten (Ms.Seo) is a phenomenon and amazing teacher and person as well. As soon as we found out about his ADHD after the first month of kindergarten, The school started to support us by: helping find the newest researchers and resources, making great relationship with us, supporting emotionally and more. My son is on medication and now, he has diagnosed as a gifted student with the IQ score of 130 by the county from last year. This child is the person who was receiving behavioral alerts on first few weeks of the school year at kindergarten and had no friends at school because he wasn’t able to make one. Now he has a lot of friends and is enjoying school a lot. If he becomes sick and have a fever and can’t go to school he cries for hours because he wants to go to school. His first grade teacher and his current teacher are great professional teachers as well. Thanks Mr.Carver (the principal) and every single person working at Crystal Lake Elementary School that I believe they all are the best.Parent Review7mo ago - Kids Together

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can't say enough good things about Oak Arbor Christian School - it is an amazing school for little ones to grow! I have a 6th grader and 3rd grader who went to Oak Arbor, and I currently have a two-year old at Oak Arbor. All three of them have loved Oak Arbor and blossomed during their time here. The formative years are so important to build a strong foundation, and they definitely do that here. I'm not into pushing academics at the age of two, as I feel like they should learn through play and experiences, which they do here. They get to play outside a lot (they have a great outdoor space) which is important to me. But most importantly, the teachers love the kiddos and take such good care of them. It's like home away from home, an extended family! I highly recommend this school for your little one. I kept my kids here as long as I could - through 1st grade - as they were excelling and it was such a loving and encouraging environment.Other Review2y ago - One School of The Arts

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy time as a student here was not good. As a black student the racism allowed from students was absolutely unacceptable and the teachers seemed to participate in subtle ways. While students would openly state their dislike for people of other races (Asians, middle easterners etc), teachers would treat the very few black students in school more harshly/strictly. There were only about 8 black students in the high school and I was constantly referred to as other black students names. Staff would constantly hold me accountable for things other black students had done and when I told them that I had never done that and that they may have confused me for someone else they told me that it had definitely been me. The theater teacher made students dress up as Nazi’s for a play and made the wear swastikas. Most classes were too easy and not engaging. During Bible class my teacher once told the students to go on missions trips to Africa and kick out any religious leaders practicing native beliefs. The school served fried chicken and watermelon for black history month and students had to beg for a hispanic history month celebration. There were very little accommodations to my depression and anxiety, I was forced to stay and watch a student dissect a dead shark despite asking the front office in tears to allow me to sit near them because it was triggering an anxiety attack in me. When my mother came in to ask for accommodations they doubted and questioned her and my illnesses. Students will openly bully kids different then them (Non-Christian, middle eastern, lgbtq). Advisors and principal will tell you the school is more focused on the arts than Christianity and that is a major lie.Other Review3mo ago - Ucp Seminole Child Development
