The 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students now have the use of iPads. Smart boards are used in K3 to 5th grade.. Teachers in 6th through 8th grade are using Apple TVs. The social studies text book with a multitude of resources can be accessed by students in 3rd through 8th grade on iPads or home computers
Posted by a teacher on 6/11/2013St. Pius is a great school that cares about each student as an individual. St. Pius has kept up with modern teaching methods. Students who graduate from St. Pius are well prepared for high school. Keep up the great work.
Posted by a teacher on 6/11/2013St. Pius has truly went down hill. The teachers are non caring. The only care about the students that knows the work. God forbid your child needs help! This year a teacher quit at the end of the second semester. All the good teachers that was there, left. The principal doesn't listen to parents. Reg

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't even know where to start!! The staff is so unprofessional and uncaring to the students. They put on a show for the parents but treat the kids horrible!!! They talk and gossip about the kids like they are the ones in elementary school!!! it makes no sense for adults to act this way!!! The bus situation is a whole other story!!! They wait until hours have past to inform the parents that there isn't a bus available for the children to get home!!! It was 6pm on day when my child got home!! I couldn't get anyone on the phone to tell me anything so I went to the school to find that the Principal was actually there and they just was not answering the phone and for her to tell me "she does not know where the kids are, at 6pm!, and seemed like she wasn't even concerned!!! 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school administrators are the worst. They don't return calls and won't take the time to meet with the parents. The principle wonders why the kids are always misbehaving, but has to realize you can't separate the kids. I have never known a school to have a promotional ceremony for part of the 5th grade and a regular awards ceremony for the rest. Sometimes, you have to put yourself in the kids shoes and see how they feel. A lot of the kids have been looking forward to the day they graduate. Its an accomplishment for them, in which the ones in charge doesn't see that. Sometimes all it takes is for these kids to see that they have someone in their corner and see that they are not doing the work in vain, dor them to want to change their attitudes and behavior.
