This school is full of bullying and they trespass the parents when they come to address the issues with the school vs using common sense and being reasonable they get on the radio and call for the school police to have you escorted out the building.Education and Safety are not a priority at this sch

Posted by a student on 4/22/2021This school is awful, we had to relocate just to avoid another year art Ft. Caroline. My son was stolen from daily! He was jumped by 10 kids on the playground & no one stopped it or even noticed! He has always been on the AB Honor roll up until the year spent in this school. I highly recommend avoid
Posted by a parent on 11/10/2017Abrasive teachers, no PTA, Principal seems more interested in making himself more important on paper for politics, and the few people in the building that actually care enough to engage with their students have to put all their energy in the kids whose parents see school as a daycare.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended Merrill RD VPk-2nd grade and we loved every bit of it. The staff , principal and especially the teachers are all amazing! My son had some of the best teachers here who were actually passionate about their job! The teachers kept me informed and communicated very well. She has been bullied by students and teachers. When she would go to a teacher about the bullying they told her to stop tattling. A child pulled my child to the ground by her hair in the lunch room and another student poured milk on her head and we were not notified at all. When the teachers would do nothing and she started defending herself they suspended her. The teachers, staff, and administration care and love the children like their own and make them feel so welcome everyday! My children absolutely love going to school and even beg to go to school to see their teachers and friends when school is out and I don't blame them because I grew up going to Parsons also and graduated from there also. I have always felt nothing but love and support from everyone there. I know I can always go to them for anything whether that's for celebrating wins, guidance, support, and most importantly prayer.
