I had to complete an anti-bullying form as a result of my child facing racism from other students, but unfortunately, they were not treated seriously, and no action was taken. This marks the fourth instance of bullying, and it feels like the school merely pretends to care. To my dismay, I received another call today regarding an incident involving my daughter. She has attended multiple schools without encountering such problems before. I've never witnessed a school downplaying racism the way this one has. I am no longer willing to provide them with chances to address this issue, and I feel compelled to publicly express my dissatisfaction. It's essential for parents to consider alternative options for their children. I am committed to pursuing this matter further with the board of education.

Great school with a positive and supportive environment. The ESE team is amazing. I had a great experience with my family.

Holiday Hill is a special school. It is a gifted and academically talented leadership school. The tenured teachers care about their students and challenge them to be leaders in and out of the classroom. Students enjoy fun learning opportunities. It also offers a special Pride program for students with disabilities. The school is nestled in the gem of a neighborhood that is warm and welcoming. There is a very active PTA that focuses on family engagement and sponsors fun activities for families and students. Both my children love Holiday Hill and I’m grateful for such an amazing school community.

This is our second year at CTK. Overall, I have been very impressed with how they navigate the modern educational and social landscape. Our family is not Catholic, and I had not considered Catholic education an option until circumstances led me to a tour of CTK. Regardless of where you live, it is difficult to find a school that offers a high level of academic and social/emotional learning in a diverse setting. In Jacksonville, that seemed absolutely impossible until we stumbled across this school. I don't know how they manage to do that and achieve high marks on notoriously biased standardized tests, all while keeping tuition reasonable and bending over backward to make sure any family that wants to go to CTK can. While the academics are more challenging and aggressive than most of the schools we toured (and we have toured pretty much all of them), there is a good amount of support for differentiated learning. We have one disabled and one typical child- and they have both been served very well. They have been offered tools other schools (that charge more than 2x the tuition) have told us are out of reach due to "resources." There are things I would change about the school. But you won't regret putting this scrappy, happy community of educators and families diverse in thought, race, religion, and affiliations on your "to tour" list.

New principal this year. Hmm. Things could be looking up for a good change for this school. Let us give it a chance. Perhaps it can be better. They will need to work together. I think they are really going to try. I want my kids to stay here.
