NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo not send your child to the school!! My son is three years old and was in their pre-K3 program. Below, please read my email withdrawing my son from this school. First United Christian Methodist is FAKE all around!!First, I would like to say that we would like to officially withdraw from your school effective immediately. The excessive amount of text messages, emails, phone calls, and even an in person meeting for a three-year-old student is completely unnecessary rather than wasting the parents time. You should use that time to go back to school and get properly educated and accredited in the subject of early childhood education. Your consequences are completely inappropriate threatening to suspend a three year-old if he wasn’t picked up after acting like a dinosaur during chapel time. That is a punishment for the parents as a three year-old has no idea what a suspension is if anything it is a reward to get to go home early and stay home. It seems like your administration does not want to deal with bad behavior, but still wants to get paid for it. If you cared about the child’s behavior, you would do something about it instead of calling the parents to handle what you are incapable of handling. Which leads us to believe that all you care about is the money and not the child which is not the Christian way!! How is my child getting to the point of jumping on chairs through the chapel?? Where are the adults? Why are a group of adults unable to control a three year-old child there is no logical explanation. This entire situation should've been handled by your staff and notified to us at pickup time. This along with every message, phone call and email received was ridiculous. We understand that the large majority of your administration and faculty is new to the school or to their position, but that should not affect us.Keeping you all in our prayers as you sure will need it because of your administration/faculty’s incompetence. God bless you!Parent Review1y ago21 Reviews - The Thinking Child Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has very bad teachers except the math teacher, the teachers give everyone attitudes and also bring down their mentality to keep going in this school. The teachers barely teach; they rather go off about how they support presidents and how they think about their life. The Science teacher needs to quit because she isn't ready to be a teacher yet even though she's at the age of retiring. I also feel like they will bring down your feelings about you and your work. One of the teachers smell like a cigar. I would not recommend this school, there is never any word-to-word teaching, (except math) It's just get on a website read it and then answer the questions. The usage of attitudes and rudeness towards the kids is absurd. not right! Neglecting kids and telling them to "figure it out." is horrible because you're the teacher and you're the one supposed to be teaching. I'd rather be with in a jail with convicts then dealing with the Ela and science/s.s teachers for 2 periods. Even you pay to be there you get treated horribly. The language around the kids calling them ignorant, rude, and have no vocab is not in their right because their vocabulary is bad because of the lack of teaching. This school can make you feel neglected and the kids feel like they should stop trying. They call your parents over small things. They think they have authority over the kids after they leave by yelling at them to go home even though they have been dismissed. this is a horrible school. teachers never compliment the other kids about how they tried. Grades are never graded even if your try hard. They're very sarcastic. They also think certain things are supposed to be stored in their memory. I also feel like the teachers make favorites and don't treat students fairly. The bathrooms are horrible. They are disgusting and always has problems. The water fountain is never fixed always broken. The kids are very decent; they are somewhat nice and most of the other kids make fun of each other, they also have a very nasty attitude and are always trying to be an adult. If I were you, I would never send my kids here, the review with five stars is very inaccurate. The only reason their kids are treated well is because the mom works thereParent Review3mo ago1 Reviews - Homestead Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLove this school! My daughter was 9 months when she started and is now 14 months. She loves ALL the teachers there, especially Ms. Carmen. Daycare is expensive but this school makes it worth every penny, they all really love their jobs and love the kids. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have now begun our third year attending Atala. My original plan was to relocate my daughter after Pre K to our home school which would allow us to walk her to and from school. Mid way thru the first year, I arrived to pick her up early one day, and the security measures to get to her, from the locked gate to get on school grounds, the locked door to access the hallway to her class, and then her locked classroom door, I felt so secure with her being there that I decided that day we would be staying with the Atala Montessori program. The teachers were kind, welcoming and supportive. My daughter, who had not previously been in any day care, was thriving in the Montessori setting. She was reading by the end of her Pre K year, and she LOVES school. She enjoys the extra classes this year, of PE, Art, Spanish, Drama and music. I adore all of the office staff and very much enjoy our hello's each morning, and we still remain in contact with her previous teachers. I like that it's a smaller/private school, and that it will extend into middle school. I truly cannot express how grateful I am to have found this school, and the impact it has had on my daughter.Parent Review10mo ago12 Reviews - Tiny Tykes Academy
