Read what parents are saying about Covenant Teaching FellowshipI was taught that if you have nothing good to say about something, then don't say anything at all. This is why I'd prefer not to say anything.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child was sexually harassed in their care. Instead of reporting the student, they retaliated against my son & myself. Resulting in multiple referrals in P.E class. He received a low battery for participating an unsupervised game of “keep away”. He was greeted w/ a police escort and removed from school. My son is a black male, in the high achieving class. Performs high on state assessment examines. The Administration, faculty and staff are not fit to be around children.Parent Review1mo ago - West Hollywood Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis place is to avoid at all costs. WeHo elementary is our neighborhood school, and we thought it was a good one from the ratings. 2 weeks my daughter started Kinder, I realized this school is the worst school I’ve evet been in. The kindergarten teachers are not educators. They spend zero effort to connect with children, dont bother with social and emotional development. Children are seen as race horses to be trained to keep the schools grades up. 10 words a week is expected to be memorized by 5 year olds, and children are tested. Homework is ridiculous. Our teacher is leaving in the middle of the year after starting 3 months late. My daughter was so happy to see her go, I didnt even want to complain about the inconsistency. Principal looks involved and caring when you have complaints, but if there is a health issue going on in your classroom, you wouldnt know. We learned we had lice in the classroom from friends because the principal sent a general email to whole school notifying everyone without specifying the classroom in danger. Campus is avarage for public schools, no green space. Only good thing I ve witnessed is the administrative office. Parents are nice but some are so focused on fundraising, its overwhelming. If you dont donate the requested amount, they never stop emailing you. I am very disappointed in WeHo Elementary, we’ll be moving to another school next year. I expect each child to be treated kindly, and appreciated as who they are. But here, kids are labeled from high perferming, to avarage. And if your kid is avarage, they force you to tutoring programs at the age of 5. If you want academic oriented, SAT kind of pressure environment for your child, give it a try. If you expect education beyond ABC’s avoid this place. Oh, kids get ridiculous smiley tickets when they ‘behave’ at school. They are all for prize and punishment system. It break my heart to see kids are getting treats (smile tickets) for ordinary things as if they are puppies in training.Parent Review1mo ago - Stirling Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNO STARSI have lived in my home for 40 years and live a few blocks from the school. My kids went there and it was declining that far back. I thank God my kids got called to go to Nova, and they received the best education they could have possibly had at that time. At least they didn't have to go to Olsen or South Broward, which follows right along with the disturbing ways at Orangebrook. It is a shame that people in our neighborhood, who pay top dollar for their homes, including a home that just sold for 1,100,000 thousand dollars, cannot send their children to this school, because it is so bad. Reading the reviews reinforces all that I have heard. I know for a fact, 3 children who could walk a block to school, and they have to send their kids to Hollywood Hills Elementary and Stirling Elementary and Nativity, and provide their own transportation, because the education they would receive at Orangebrook would not be good. There is definitely something wrong here. And I suspect it starts at the top with the Principal. And speaking of the principal, last time we voted, they have changed my voting poll to Orangebrook. The principal came over the speaker and was very rude, and told the teachers to pay attention when it was their time to go to the cafeteria and get their classes down there on time. He was very condescending when he spoke. Why when it gets bad reviews, is not someone up top looking at this? Bad test scores and complaints. So sad, and the middle and high school is not any better. So sad these kids that have to go to these schools. This is what is happening to them?Other Review1y ago - Sheridan Hills Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son had the pleasure of being a student at Sheridan Hill from first grade til he graduated 5th grade! The teachers were awesome! Mrs.Campbell (the principal) is amazing! She really loves her students. Mrs.Campbell and her assistant work really well together. I’ve witnessed them care for my son and many other students as if they were their own children. In a way, the students are theirs. Mr.Robert taught my son for two years and if I had it my way, he would move up to middle school and teach him again. The patience. The love…..the father figure & tough love. Mrs.Juste…..have you ever watched “The Magic School Bus”? She is so full of energy! She has a creative way of teaching! My son really loved her teaching, her fun energy, and the way she relates her teaching to real life. The office staff——amazing!!! They are always so lovely. Mrs.Dawn….or as we like to call her, “Pokey”! That name “Pokey” is an inside joke between my son and Mrs.Dawn.Well…… Now my daughter is in the VPK program with Mrs.Ramirez and Mrs.Smith and is showing amazing skills at just 4 years old. I get updates every week about her progress via class dojo. I honestly can’t wait to watch her grow and become as amazing as she can be with the love and support of the S.H.E. Family! Both of my children got really awesome teachers at a really awesome school! I hope this review helps any parent or guardian that has any doubt about being apart of the S.H.E family!Parent Review2y ago - Rainbow Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLove the atmosphere it’s a very small school so you become like family. My kids love the school and their teachers. Few concerns, I wish they would hire security, with the unpredictable times we’re in right now with school shootings on the rise it would make me more comfortable knowing they had an armed security, they can definitely afford it!Another concern, my kindergartner barely learned to read or write, and they don’t send them w homework or books or anything. Thankfully he learned enough skills to comprehend so we are learning together at home. All in all I will keep my children here for as long as I can because my children love it and the teachers are amazing and trustworthy.Parent Review1y ago - Sheridan Hills Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOver the last 17 years I’ve seen Sheridan Hills Christian School go through many changes. Our experience has been a journey filled with growth and learning. Under the current administration Sheridan Hills has been able to thrive and improve in an immensely positive way. The school has a strong commitment to academic excellence. The teachers are dedicated and the curriculum is rigorous which properly prepared my child for college. He was accepted to many schools with scholarships which helped our family in a great way. One thing that sets this school apart is their strong focus on character development. Sheridan Hills is rooted in Christian values. They are Christ centered and kingdom conscious. The schools christian values help instill integrity, responsibility and compassion into the students. This has greatly helped my children to become ethical and compassionate individuals. The sense of community at Sheridan Hills has also been exceptional. The school actively encourages parent involvement and we have enjoyed participating in school event over the course of many years. Our families journey has been extremely positive and we are thankful to Sheridan Hills for the opportunities and values it has provided to our children.Parent Review7mo ago - Hollywood Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers don't really like to teach , I feel the teachers want to be friends with the students more than teaching. The students aren't academically challenged here and the students are not very kind. They have a lot of work to do when it comes to academics and consequences with these students and teachers to be honest. They need teachers who want to actually teach.Parent Review8mo ago
