Read what parents are saying about Mater Gardens AcademyMy son attended MGA for K-5 and now my daughter has attended from Kinder to 4th and we absolutely love the school. It is a family-like atmosphere where everyone knows each other. The principal is amazing and very accommodating - you can tell she loves her job and her students.
Posted by a parent on 12/6/2023I’m a new parent at Mater Gardens Academy. My daughter started Kindergarten this year. So far, I have had a great experience. I’ve seen such a great progress in her. Her teachers are very sweet and caring. The school is well maintained and safe. They do a lot of activities , which I love because that keeps students and families engaged. The principal is awesome, as well as the office staff. I’m so glad I picked this school!
Posted by a parent on 12/6/2023This school is very organized and really cares about the students. I love how they focus on teaching the 7 habits of successful people.
Posted by a parent on 12/5/2023My kids have been at the school since kinder (my eldest is in 4th and my youngest is in second). The school feels like family. Parents help one another Nd the kids grow up together. The staff, teachers, and principal are 100% vested in student success. I consider myself lucky to be part of the school

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a wonderful school! Teachers and staff are dedicated to growing the minds and hearts of our children and I couldn't be more thankful to each one of them. The school has an Innovative Program of the Arts - the kids get to perform and take art, music & dance classes. They put together wonderful performances throughout the year and a Musical Production at the end of the year. It's amazing how much confidence the kids develop with this program!Parent Review4mo ago - Palm Springs North Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's been made quite apparent that not being of the majority demographic, the child will be labeled as a bully, ADHD and other things. This assessment was done just 6 weeks into the school year to a transfer student by a teacher who just met the child. She went as far as stating that she did not like the child and the child didn't have to like her. How is someone to learn in a hostile environment? I'll add that it is hostile if you dont fit in that 90 percent demographic. They do a lousy job of hiding their disdain for non Hispanic/Latino who venture through their door.Other Review8mo ago - Spanish Lake Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am very happy with the school. Both of my children attended the school and their academic progress was great. Both of them graduated from SLE and did great in middle school. I am very thankful to the staff for their support and care of my children for 6 years. I would recommend this school to anyone.Parent Review3y ago - Sunrise Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo not put your student into the school unless you want them humiliated and demeaned during the first week to the point that they no longer wish to participate and any self esteem that they had has been completely destroyed. I am sure this is why one parent removed their kid and decided to homeschool the, I am livid. If you teach little kids and think it's ok to slam your hand down on the desk and scare the kids or tap on their head to humiliate them in front of the class then you should not be a teacher. I am sickened over this school and their disorganization is an utter disaster too. Both my daughters orientation were at the same time and so I had to run back and forth between the two classes because the girls mother was taking care of my sick daughter. As a result I missed a lot and had no idea what I was doing the first several weeks of the year.Parent Review5mo ago - Lakes Preschool - Daycare
