Hawthorne Middle/High School

Both of my children attended this school, both middle and high. The school has a small town vibe to it and the staff seems to know most of the students. Like any school it has its issues but you can see that the principal and staff are working hard to improve the school. They have a student/teacher

This is a multiple generation community and the schools have the feel of a family. That gives me extra comfort along with the academic opportunities through magnet programs, AP classes and dual enrollment being available as well!

Hawthorne High School is a school with a lot of heart. 325 students in grades 6-12 participate in numerous activities--all at one time. Sponsors and coaches try to work around each other's schedules in order for the students to be able to take part in sports, drama, and cheerleading. Last year, the
