Croissant Park Elementary School

This school is TOP notch! Administration is amazing and cares about the students. Teachers are all excellent and student centered. They really are focused on the needs of all students. They do a great job incorporating social emotional learning into the curriculum. It makes my heart so happy to know my child goes to a place they are loved and is safe. Thank you, Harbordale!!

My child completed Kindergarten at this school. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations. We felt communication could have been stronger, and there were several areas where additional academic and emotional support would have benefited students, especially mine. Administration tends to brush off concerns. After several instances of my child being bullied by other peers, the teacher's excuse; boys are boys, and girls have their cliques, but your child is very sweet. The teacher's assistant acted like she had other places to be and had an overwhelmingly constipated look on her face at all times. Mid year they even allowed another student's parent to come in and "assist teach" without any formal notice to other parents and again, no notice, when she left the role, either. Pros: they do have active law enforcement monitoring the building during schools hours, that is, when the teacher's in car line aren't trying to chat him up or flirt.

My daughter is currently in Bethany Christian for prek-3 and my husband and I couldn't be happier. She is learning so much, and the teachers are very nurturing as well as the community. The security is exceptional, with the world today this school makes me feel secure in my decision to send my daughter to Bethany. Looking forward to see all their new expansion projects and for my daughters to be part of it.
