Posted by a principal on 5/8/2026My daughter was profusely bullied. Do not go here if you have a mixed child. Peanuts were thrown at her, she was slapped, called names all at 5 YEARS OLD! she had to be pulled out abruptly and we had to get a lawyer. 0/10

In our 5 years with the school, we have had great experiences with the teachers and staff. About 500 children go to this school so it is much smaller than most of the surrounding schools. The principal knows all the children by name which I really like! Her Pre-K teachers: Mrs. Ledesma, Mrs. Riley, and her Speech teacher are amazing. Additionally, his current kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Yates, is very patient and experienced. The school has such an incredible community of parents, teachers and staff that truly believe in preparing your children to be well rounded and successful adults. There is a reason that one or more of the local high school valedictorians and salutatorians are graduates of SJA for the past several years. They really prepare the kids both academically and spiritually. The school is a second home for my children and they could not be happier there. Mrs Kissel and the administration have done an amazing job getting SJA back on track, as we did have a few years of transition prior to that. I would highly recommend SJA.
