Read what parents are saying about Crestview High SchoolOverall, I give Crestview High School a 10/10. The student atmosphere is fantastic and there is something for everyone to do.
Posted by a student on 3/8/2020-10 I wish I did more research on the school district and how many kids have been arrested at this school as we would have moved to another town. Since moving here in 2018, my child has had to attend counseling.
Posted by a parent on 6/11/2019First year for my kids at this school, they like it so far. Seems a bit crowded to me.
Posted by a community member on 2/3/2016They say with new Leadership comes change and I find that to be true at Crestview High. Principal Day and his staff are dedicated to the students and their futures. Principal Day and his staff are available at anytime to answer questions and help when needed. I was thrilled when Principal Day hired Coach Gibson and Coach Arnett to take over the Softball Program. Both Coach Gibson and Coach Arnett are dedicated to making the Softball program a success and helping the girls to the next level. Both Coaches care about all the girls they are coaching. Coach Gibson and Coach Arnett are working very hard to bring the Softball program back to the level it should be. We are looking forward to an awesome year next year - It can only get better. Principal Day, Coach Gibson and Coach Arnett keep doing the Great job you are doing. Future looks Bright at Crestview High School.
Posted by a parent on 5/6/2015My daughter tried out and made softball. It's apparent that about 4 girls only made the team in order to gain $520 per child to be on the team. My straight A student is having trouble keeping her grades up. I'm seriously considering homeschooling.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids just transferred to this school from another state. The teachers so far are very friendly and approachable. Both of my children's teachers send home communication sheets that clearly lay out what the children will be doing the following week. The afterschool "daycare" that is associated with the school is terrible. The women that work the program sit on their behinds and yell at the kids the whole time. Mine where there for a week and every day when I would drop them off and pick them up all the kids where sitting on a filthy floor watching movies that have fowl language in them. For snack the kids were fed doritos and told they have to go to the water fountain for drink. Both my children told me that the women that work there are very friendly to the grown ups and as soon as the parents would leave they yell at the kids with a bullhorn.Parent Review10y ago - Northwood Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you live in the crestview area and are seeking education for your child, DO NOT ENROLL HERE. This school staff is unbearably rude, and non caring. The school advertises as special needs capable. Full Lies. None of the teachers are actually certified in special needs. Staff does not care about your child and administration is not willing to aid in progress for children. This is by far the worst school operation I've ever witnessed. My child is special needs and has been consistently neglected, fault blamed at him, and zero offering of cotingicienes or other possible solutions. I would be surprised to find out the administration at this school is even qualified to be in the position that they are in. Poor excuse for child education . Do not. Do not, I repeat, do not enroll your kids here if you want them to have any sort of successful childhood.Parent Review3w ago - Walker Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst school ever ! Actually pulled my child out of this school. Parents not even allowed to eat with child inside. If you choose to have lunch with your child you must eat outside. Parent conference was conducted with another parent included in my child’s evaluation and didn’t even know them. Asked about help for my child in math was told by teacher all the kids were doing bad in math so she was going to give them a easier test to bump up their gradeParent Review11mo ago - Lakewood Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey were great at first, but then i started noticing they have different rules for different kids. they do not keep track of their financials either. There is no communication on what the kids are learning and school work in rarely sent home. They watch tv almost everyday. The desk are old cubicle computer desk so they have walls on each side to prevent interaction with peers. the children are not allowed to use the computers, even though the billboards say "APPLE COMPUTER LAB" The preschoolers have a playground, but once they get school age ( kindergarten and up) they are only allowed to play in the open field beside the school. The Elementary age kids aren't even allowed to have balls, they are to use their imagination only for outdoor play. I am very dissatisfied with this school. The director is very opinionated and she and her daughter are NEVER WRONG! They don't make time to talk to parents about concerns and don't return phone calls. The preschool teacher is amazing, but after that id suggest moving your child to a new school!Parent Review7y ago - Southside Center
