Read what parents are saying about Celebration SchoolSome teachers take punishment way too seriously I’ve heard of children having to clean the boys bathroom bare handed, getting suspended for mear reasons and students hating teachers and wanting to drop out due to not liking learning there at all
Posted by a community member on 2/14/2024As my sister attended this school a few years ago, i had noticed none of them cared about anything that had happened to their students. She had been bullied by some students for several months last school year because my mom has stage 4 liver cancer. All of her teachers were informed of our situation via email, but somehow only some of them had read their emails. Although the teachers had probably not seen the bullying happen, they could have had a better watch over their students. There are some white kids saying the n word, some kids bullying people with cancer, and appareantly also some people saying the r slur. The “popular kids” at her school are also the rudest people shes encountered. In her words, the bathrooms are also disgusting. She hated this school, she is never coming back here again.
Posted by a community member on 10/19/2023We will go into year 3 at CK8 and have been grateful for the support we’ve received from Spec ed, deans, and principle. They are available and reachable when needed. Elementary school teachers have been wonderful and middle school has been great with the exception of one or two. Teachers are reachable through the internal systems when needed. I have been really impressed overall.
Posted by a parent on 7/14/2023School overcrowding issues are not the fault of the school, but the district and local politicians. It's frustrating for everyone involved. People should voting in all elections accordingly. The School does a phenomenal job of working to address these issues and ensure all children are receiving a quality education. Safety is a big priority to administrators, our SRO and teachers, they are continually working to improve safety. Parents with concerns in either of these areas should be attending SAC and PTA meetings to have their concerns addressed. These meetings do not have a lot of participation, which is disappointing considering you have a direct audience with the Principal. K-8 is not the only area school we have attended and I can say with complete confidence it is by far the best of those we have attended. My children love their school. It's not without issues, all schools have them, but there are hard working people who I have always seen, take them seriously. There is a new Principal who seems very excited to be here and help the school reach its highest potential. I've gotten a very good impression of him thus far and I'm excited to see what he does for our school. This school is blessed with a lot of volunteer/parent/guardian participation. I also don't believe the statistics on diversity are correct, the last I heard there are children speaking 42 different languages at the school. Children representing out Families in Transition are supported and loved. For example, PTA regularly provides funding so that these children can enjoy events such as the Book Fair and Holiday Shoppe. I've seen teachers and volunteers pull from their own pockets to assist as well. I find it sad that not all parents find the school to be to their satisfaction, but for the most part I feel parents are quite happy. I certainly see more parents happy vs. upset.
Posted by a parent on 5/21/2023A large population of students making it difficult to meet all of their needs. Small fish in the big sea. Dual Language a program is excellent with wonderful teachers. Some classrooms are overcrowded. High staff turnover which makes things very difficult. Walkers and bikers pickup location is quite a disaster with too many children getting out at one location.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePay attention to the dates of the reviews. This school used to be fantastic but isn't any longer! After 2 years at this school, my children have only learned a couple of words in French and a single song in Chinese. THAT IS IT!!! They do a fair job at teaching Spanish but not great. The decline of this school is completely the fault of the current owner. Her attention is no longer on academics. Now that the school has built a new building, she is completely focused on fundraising. She will ignore you unless you are a doctor or drive a Porche! She will literally refuse to make eye contact as we enter the school and then rush to greet the person behind us. There are less than 100 students at this school so there aren't that many parents coming and going so it's incredibly awkward and I've seen her to it to other families as well.I will acknowledge that the teachers here are very caring. My children love their primary teachers, and the school handles special dietary needs exceptionally well. They're tough on bad behavior and very supportive when my children are having a rough day.Parent Review3w ago - Creation Village World School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur 4-year old daughter loves Creation Village World School. Facilities are modern and clean. Classrooms have a main and assistant teacher. Lots of toys, activities, books and coloring. School has a full time security guard which I love. There are also Spanish teachers, music teachers, Physical education teacher's along with a fun playground area, auditorium and farm area where the students grow plants and food along with taking care of chickens and goats. It’s a Christian based school. All staff and faculty seem wonderful. They have a social media app and try to upload photos and videos from class every day so parents know what is happening in school. Tuition is $285 a week for a full time 8am-3pm student. They have early drop off and late pick up available for an additional fee. It’s walking distance to the celebration library, so we often get new books after school to read at bedtime. The only downsides is that I wish they had a security camera in each classroom to record any incidents or allow parents to check on their children. Also, the school charges you an extra 3% processing fee on all payments which should typically be covered by the business, not the customer.Parent Review4mo ago - Foreign Language Immersion Preparatory Academy
