Skyline Elementary School

Quisiera expresar en estos momentos todo lo que siento pero me es imposible . Mi hija comenzó la escuela en primer grado en este lugar el año lo perdió porque al final del año me di cuenta que la niña no sabía ni el alfabeto porque sencillamente no hicieron el trabajo que requería no marcaron precisamente las dificultades que tenía la niña . Al siguiente año pasó con la misma maestra la cual tengo los correos todavía de las veces que le pedí que me ayudara con una opción de un maestro pago. La pusieron al lado de una niña hispana también y no sabía nada de inglés al año y al segundo año fue igual hasta que yo tuve que pedirle a la maestra que ella necesitaba tener al lado niños con el inglés para verse obligada a aprender . Estos maestros no se dan cuenta de lo que deben hacer en el momento para que el niño avance . Jamás me mencionaron que existían los tutores en tiempo de verano por lo que le dió lo mismo lo que le escribía en los correos cuando soy yo la madre y se las deficiencias de mi hija porque le preguntábamos cosas y veíamos que no sabía responder . Pasó para tercer grado sin estar preparada y nunca me explicaron que existían tutores . Y no estamos hablando de una niña con problemas mentales estamos hablando de una niña con otro idioma que no tuvo la enseñanza adecuada para su deficiencia que era la aprender a leer y escribir y que sin eso no iba a poder lograr desempeñar las demás asignaturas porque no iba a comprender lo que le pedían . Me siento tan mal de no haberla cambiado antes que no puedo ni expresarlo alguien me mencionó que la cambiara y no lo hice y ahora me siento culpable pero buscó las opiniones en Google y están desactivadas . Solo el que tiene hijos sabe lo que están el dolor de no haber hecho todo lo posible . Pero evidentemente cuando vienes de otro país y no conoces como es el aprendizaje de aquí cuesta mucho trabajo saber cómo puedes ayudar al niño . Es triste

My son has been in this school for 1 year and so far he loves it. His teacher is caring and supporting, but firm. They teach kids to be nice a caring with others and treat people respectfully. They do a lot of activities for the kids during the school year. Security is good, and car line just get messy at the beginning of the school year, after that it is very smooth, not like I have seen in other schools that is terrible all year long. Communication with teachers and staff is through an app and I think is great, they maintain you informed of all activities and issues. Staff is very nice and helpful, of course there is always someone that is not like the others, but in general they are very good. One thing that I have noticed is that parent involvement is key, but I think it is like that in all schools.

Principal Lisa Murphy, with the incident of my daughter, JP, at your after-school program getting the contusion on her shin bone I am still waiting on seeing the "other camera angle" footage that you mentioned about when you showed me the footage of the kids behind that long, big bush where you really couldn't make out at all what happened. The morning after the incident you had mentioned to me that you saw the footage that clearly showed my daughter falling on her own and not being pushed by five kids as she told me, however, you only showed me that one footage of the bush obstructing the view of what happened before she went down. That morning that I had the appointment with you in your office, where the school officer was present as well, to view the footage I asked you how could you tell that she fell with those bushes in the way, and I told you that I could not see behind those bushes you mentioned that you had other camera angles. When I asked you why then were you showing me the bush footage instead of the one where you stated that you could clearly see that she fell, it begs the question why wouldn't you have that footage ready the morning of our appointment instead of the footage that you showed me. A lot of time has gone by and I still have yet to see the camera you mentioned to me, which I am still waiting to view it. That first incident was not handled properly, therefore, it went from a contusion to a concussion now & traumatic brain injury with the most recent incident. Please, kindly let me know when I can view all of the footages thank you.

Great !!! Just A lot of the staff are also very rude and they seem very unorganized
