Enroll your kids to this school if you don’t value the safety of your child. Hands down the worst school when it comes to safety and proper discipline. My son has been threatened to be shot at the bus stop by another student. The school claimed they “followed protocol” by deeming the threat to not be serious enough for action. The kid who made the threat continues to ride the bus because as quoted by the school “they can’t control safety at the bus stops”. My son was then assaulted on the bus by a student who has been identified before for punching other students. Again the school decided to do a “write up” as their disciplinary action and left it at that. No suspension or parent contact. Oh which brings up the point that the school told us they don’t contact parents about punishments. This school is negligent when it comes to holding violent students accountable.

My son started there in 3 rd grade. Honestly I wasn’t impressed in the beginning. But I had to change my mind really quickly. His 3 rd grade teacher team have been absolutely incredible. . We decide to keep him at Kingswood and that was the best decision we made. If you are a parent who likes to be part of your child’s school go to Kingswood. There was always communication between the teacher and us as parents. . There so many wonderful teachers there. Kingswood was a blessing for my child’s education. One of the best elementary school experiences we ever had.

My 4th grader developed severe social anxiety after being bullied and ignored by the principal in this school by a child who regularly bullies others. Her and a group of girls made and shared a RAP DISS track about my daughter mocking her, her family, and her body. If your unlucky enough to be at this school, make sure you send your kid in in tattered cloths ready to fight because bullies will be given 100 chances and this is where your child will learn to fight for their self or isolate.

The principal is awesome, professional and she really cares about the kids and easy to talk and very respectful, I think she can find better teachers so the school can continue having a better reputation , the teachers in general are so so, they don’t handle bullying seriously and need a better understanding and preparation, they don’t take issues seriously and the dress code for teachers is zero, they wore flip flops and leggings and shorts like they were going to the beach( very disrespectful) I volunteered there and they didn’t say good morning or thank you , super rude, I witness a teacher bossing a mom around and didn’t even say thanks at the end of the event when this lady worked hard and was super polite . I hope the principal find very teachers for the years to come . My kid was bullied and she had zero support from her homeroom teacher , very disappointed and it is concerning how they handled the situation . They are more concerned about the LGTB community than the well being of the students , I explained my kid at 8 years old about same sex couplescause of the books they put at the library for them . It is an elementary school, focus on teaching what’s important, be sensitive about children emotions and act accordingly when a student is being bullied. A lot of improvement needs to happen. Hire better teachers with passion and true dedication and commitment for education, they are shaping the future , our kids deserve better .
