Read what parents are saying about Altamonte Christian SchoolThis is the worst Christian school I have ever witnessed. I cannot put into words my displeasure and angst regarding this school. Many years after my daughter attended this school I am still dealing with the fall out. If you love your daughters, please reconsider.

She was given the chance to change schools this year and did not want to leave. We are very pleased with the way they are growing our child both spiritually and academically.

They are all so very knowledgeable and helpful in getting him enrolled and getting his schedule. I look forward to my son having a great year at ACS!

We were searching for a school that would provide a safe and advanced academic learning environment that our kids would thrive in through Christ. ACS has shown unparalleled communication with parents and students, something that was crucial in our search.
Posted by a parent on 7/29/2022Hands down, the best school that you can send your kids to in the Orlando area! My son experienced bad stomach pains and during the entire debacle of Aiden going to the hospital, Aiden’s teacher was texting me from 11:00pm on Friday night through the school texting application and through Saturday morning until 7am Sunday. His Preschool Director has checked on him each day and implemented new ways for Aiden not to be so stressed! I have never found a school so concerned and committed to helping small children. I am convinced that Aiden is in good hands and we will all work together to help my son! The teachers are easy to reach and speak to each day. Payments are automatically drafted out of your account monthly and it makes everything extremely easy. These teachers TRULY care about your children and they treat them as if they were their own. I am so absolutely happy with this school.

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a single mom moving across country with my 10 year old in a new state we were unfamiliar with, I will say that my child enjoyed attending Spring Lake. The students had many days off last year due to the hurricane and teacher / staff meetings which is more than what I'm used to. They also have early days and my child probably had homework once every two weeks. They mainly had the students testing. The teachers do communicate and are understanding. My child had an issue with another student in her class at the beginning of the year and it was addressed immediately. They have a decent system with school pickup/drop off which is safe for the students and convenient for the parents. Overall, I like the school.Parent Review1y ago - Lyman High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI really love it here. I’ve been to three high schools overall, and Lyman is my third and final one. I feel safe, there are many ways to get involved in the school culture, and overall other students are respectful to each other and care about doing well in class. If you hang out with the right people, you won’t have any trouble doing good here, but that’s with any school. I’m proud to be graduating from here, and really love the motto of diversity and inclusivity because it’s true. We’re always up to date on events because of the weekly newsletters from Mr. Hunter. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've been at Lake Orienta from Kindergarten to 4th grade now, almost 5th. While the curriculum focuses strongly on FSA scores, it is not the teachers or the admins fault, it is unfortunately our state's fault. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff and teachers. There are lots of after school activities for the kids, families, (they even host parent date nights where you can drop kids off for a movie!) and extra-curricular activities like cross country and music. There are a few bad apples here, but that is the fault of the parents and not due to a lack of teacher or staff intervention. I've been notified immediately if my child was involved in an incident.
