'DESTINED for GREATNESS' is definitely what Friendship Southeast is ALL ABOUT! This school is a learning community and an overall Friendship Family. The teachers, staff and even cafeteria workers are all very friendly and helpful! My daughter came home to show me things she learned by using a chromebook in her classroom! I was super impressed and astonished! She is 6 years old and she knew how to access things I didn't! I can honestly say this was the best decision I ever made to bring my child here! KUDOS Friendship SOUTHEAST!!!

This is a nice school! Student attendance and the school climate is wonderful. The staff really care about the students.

I love this school. All three of my children attend this school and I couldn't be happier with the Leadership of the principal Ms. White. She works hard, she's tough but she is fair and the results have paid off. The teachers are also very focused and accommodating. The balance between academics and down time is appropriate. HW is given everyday however they reward the students all the time. I love Ms White and I love the difference and impact she has made with the school.

Amazing experience. I am in awe of my son's intellectual growth and development since he started last year. Today, when I picked him up from school, he told me how much he liked the teachers and loved the school because they make him feel so smart! I really appreciate the support and the resources they provide for building character and integrity among these young men.

Kuumba has changed my life as well as my children’s. Kuumba is full of love and welcomes you with open arms. They are so positive and always willing to lend a hand and help out in anyway. When I first saw the name Kuumba I had to know more. I was hooked. When we came for the interview I knew my kids had to attend. They were already so involved and committed. I had never seen my kids eagerly want to go to school. Kuumba has had a huge impact on my entire family. My daughter is opening up and growing up in to become a great young woman. My oldest son has changed completely from his unacceptable behavior at his previous school. My youngest twin had so many issues that I had no idea about and if it wasn’t for guidance from Kuumba I would have never known. Kuumba has shown me new ways to discipline, teach, care and feed my children and I am truly blessed and thankful.
