They don’t recognize talented students neither share or promote opportunities equally. Kids who are successful out of this school are self motivated and have family support for their success. Some teachers are ok
Posted by a parent on 5/30/2024Overloads of homework and testing . They seem more preoccupied by giving the next test than by actually teaching . A lot of times kids are on their own . Also the catalog of electives seems nice you’ll soon realize your kid will only be able to take one or two over the course of 4 years . Not talkin

Which, yes, is an issue, but I think students using hard drugs is a bigger issue. The bullying at this school is awful, no one ever gets justice, the administration is too wo

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVivi los 3 peores años de mi vida en esta escuela, mi hijo ingreso en 6to grado por lotería y desde un inicio le empezaron a hacer bullyng, luego recibimos su diagnostico y para aquello algunos maestros se negaron a ayudar a sus medicos con el diagnóstico de mi hijo y cuando ya estaba establecido el plan 504 de mi hijo entonces los maestros no lo respetaban. Lo mas profundamente triste es cuando durante 3 años me negaron un interprete teniendo maestras que hablan español en la escuela. Adicionalmente, en el video de la graduación de mi hijo se le negó el poder mostrar su bandera nativa, la asistente principal fue grabada entregando los diplomas y saludando a cada alumno EXCEPTO al mío. La primera vez que le hicieron bullying a mi hijo la principal lo trato despectivamente por su origen étnico, lo peor de todo es que fui al distrito a denunciar y se rieron y no me tomaron en consideración. No pierdas el tiempo en esta escuela.
