this schools the worst the principal is trying ti take everything away for no reason hes been ruining the school since he came and taking away stuff that we might not be able to experience again and he is way to strict about the policy for clothes worst school do not recommend ever and the teachers

This school is horrible, everyone is treated poorly and no one has any respect for each other. everyone is basically each others enemy. Most of the teachers here are ok, the do try to help us learn, because our sbac scores are so low. The new principle

Teachers don't care, students are disrespectful but all one has to do is look around the community and it's easy to see why. Embarrassed to tell anyone I have to send my child to school here because I have no choice.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVery few schools offer a Pre K program, and I have been nothing but impressed with what my child has learned here. His teacher is amazing. You can tell she really LOVES her kids and teaches them the way she would her own. The secretaries are very nice and pleasant to talk to. Every teacher I have met has been so nice, and helpful. Even the bus drivers introduce themselves and become part of the great experience. The principal really makes the school great. The relationship he has with the students and faculty is wonderful. He gives out high 5's, helps them put their stuff in the lockers, holds doors. I have told my husband that we are not moving any time soon because I can't imagine not being a part of Vinton.
