Yes parents are involved here because they have to be involved. Having lived in other area of CT, I can attest to the fact that there many better public school systems around. I

Morley is one of the few true neighborhood schools left. Most kids walk to school, parents are very involved with the teachers. Wonderful community feel to the school. Love it!

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has ABSOLUTELY no security. I was there for 2 days. Walking in. Roaming around. Talk to security & pricinable. I was in a classroom HANDLING children. Nobody asked me for my I.D. I didn't even get welcomed by anyone. Teachers telling me how to get in the building. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo I have a Teacher (I’m not gonna say their name) that literally just looses it super fast over a little thing like if we don’t turn in our work on time and they like the boys more than the girls they literally tell the girls to do all the work for example like if we paint they tell the girls to clean up and organize while the boys are just sitting there playing games on their computer. The counselor is kind but we had a discussion on ticks and spiders and I’m afraid of them and they saw me literally shaking and crying but they continued to talk about it. What I’m saying is that they don’t care of people’s fears and don’t care if they are crying, having a breakdown, and literally super mad.. So this was my review.
