Bucks Hill School

Not the best school. The teacher did not know how to control her classroom, one child was bullying kids in the class and all the teacher would do is take points from the child. I went to the teacher about Mt daughter getting bullied and was told she didn't know anything of it. I went to the assistant principal in person about the incidents that occurred with my daughter and this bully, nothing was done. It wasn't until I got strong with then and threatened to go to the department of education that the assistant principal talked to the child that was bullying my daughter. Meanwhile the teacher yelled at my daughter embarrassing her and made her cry under her desk with other students watching. My daughter got to the point where she told me she didn't want to talk to her teacher because she felt her teacher didn't pay attention to her complaints. I'm doing everything possible to remove my child from this school so that way she is out of there the following school year. Don't send your child here! If you want your child to get an education send then to a REAL school, this is just a out of control day Care with a school title.

My son has been attending this school since Kindergarten, and he is now in 5th grade. This school has definitely gotten better since the new Principal, Hannah Sam. We get a newsletter every Sunday night keeping us informed of what's happening for that week or upcoming events/activities via Parent Square, something that previous principal never did and we were always informed the day of or day before. The school does not tolerate bullying and will notify the parents immediately if something is happening with your child and another student. My son has ADHD, so he is easily distracted and teachers are always looking for ways to keep him focus or will send him to walk something to the office to calm him. Also, I like that this school is very diverse.

When I was in this school back then there was nothing but drama and fights. Teachers are nice but they won’t believe you at ALL. When my stuff was getting stolen I knew who it was and I told the teacher but didn’t believe me and I never got it back again. I didn’t learn nothing there until 6th grade. Even a poor girl a few years ago got her head kinda bashed on the brick walls.

This is the WORST school out of Waterbury Connecticut. All there is is nothing but bullying and drama. When I got my stuff stolen back then when I was in this school I told the teacher cause I knew who stole my stuff but soon enough the teacher doesn’t believe me and doesn’t do NOTHING

the teachers are rude the student learn nothing this is just a bad school i would not go here
