The Special Ed department is lacking in knowledge of CT Sped laws and they don't always adhere to them. Also, the Fifth grade Sped teacher over directs/explains and teaches in a way that does not address the child's issues. She is not sensitive to the needs of the child. Very disappointed in this sc

Fantastic middle school! One of the best in the area!!! Stonington school district is great!

Unfortunately most U.S. schools are shackled by their budgets and limited intellectual growth content for our children - Here at Mystic Middle however I find that they rise above the mediocrity of that system and offer more, as a whole to the students. Better than other local schools.

Excellent school. The principal, the dean of students, the teachers all care about the students and foster a comfortable environment for them to learn in. The music programs are absolutely stallar. We love Mystic Middle.
