King/Robinson Magnet School

Teachers are excellent and caring. They plan for each student. Parents are involved. Principal is stern, yet smart and open to ideas. Facilities in great shape. Lots of hands on activities. This school still has music and art! Awarded magnet school of distinction in CT. My kids love going to school!

My two children are international students at this school and have achieved excellent progress here. The teachers are all professional and patient, with their ESL teachers delivering particularly high-quality instruction. We also benefit from the academic support offered by Yale student volunteers. Moreover, the school’s varied activities effectively promote students’ comprehensive abilities.

I've been at this school for 10+ years and these 10+ years have been the hardest years of my life just bc of how the school has treated me and how I was treated by students and staff which plays a huge part in my depression and anxiety. They don't truly care for the students until it gets noticeably bad and will let your grades and mental deteriorate without saying a word, they only mention grades when they're so bad and don't understand the circumstances or the reason you've let it get so bad. So for any parent reading, please save your kids the heartache of attending this school, if you want them to enjoy even an inkling of going to school don't make the decision of bringing them here.
