Read what parents are saying about East School2 of my children attend East School as did I when I was little. The school motto of Work Hard, Be Kind is exemplified by both students and staff. Teachers go above and beyond to work not only on "text book" education but also on life lessons, resiliency, empathy, etc. My children are exceling academically and socially and really couldn't be any happier. Parent involvement is very high which is great to see too.
Posted by a parent on 6/23/2016New Canaan East School has a great curriculum which is comprehensive and diverse ranging from daily computer classes to language sessions. The teachers are extremely attentive and provide an excellent structure - I strongly recommend East school.
Posted by a parent on 6/21/2011East School is absolutely the best school my kids have ever been to. No staff has ever impressed me the way East's did. All of the teachers are kind experienced and all genuinely care about the kids. The curriculum is exceptional as is the rest of the New Canaan District. Academics is taken very seriously at East and they focus on prepping the kids for middle school and beyond. Furthermore, the parent involvement at this school is unbelievable. Parents are always updated on recent news ect. This school is a great choice for your child.

It has a state of the art new library/media room with a full-time member of staff that introduces and challenges the children with projects on STEAM.
