Posted by a community member on 9/10/2021There was no academics and staff are not well trained. The time out spaces are extremely small and inhumane. The wonderful “tea house” in the back is never used and is only for display. The staff and principal are rude and inconsiderate of both parents and students.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school and district! Hamden condones bullying. My child has come home with marks and bumps on his head in Kindergarten. Nothing was done and my transfer request to another school was denied by the Superintendent without any conversation. When I tried to follow up after my child had a knot on his forehead he blocked my email address. When i contacted the board of education, they said the decision is made by the Superintendent. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible school. They ignore bullies and get physical with the children. My child was getting hit by another and all that other child had to do was write an apology note. There was another bully as well who was constant. A teacher informed me that there were other parents complaining as well about this student bullying. The final straw was when when my kid had nail marks on their arm from an adult who works there.
