I attended this school in the 90s. At the time I couldn't appreciate the one-on-one, interaction with my educator. I didn't see how a small classroom helped, but I did see my grades increase. In my undeveloped brain, time out sucked. I wasn't able to understand that I needed to calm down, recenter,

I still have PTSD from this school putting me in a dark wood closet for hours. When i say they lock kids in closets, i mean it.

I still have trauma from the time out spaces and rudeness of staff. Thinking about this school and how it’s still running makes me sick.

There was no academics and staff are not well trained. The time out spaces are extremely small and inhumane. The wonderful “tea house” in the back is never used and is only for display. The staff and principal are rude and inconsiderate of both parents and students.
