Read what parents are saying about Wilder Elementary SchoolWe have 2 children that attend Wilder. We haven't dealt with bullying, but have seen students encourage each other with support. This school does a great job in encouraging leadership and accountability.
Posted by a parent on 4/3/2023Not a fan . Everyone says how great Wilder is . Great so long as you like your child in a small classroom with 30 other kids. Didnt appreciate that the now retired principal is okay passing each and every child through regardless of their process and maturity. Thanks Dalton
Posted by a parent on 3/3/2023My son has been at Wilder for two years and we couldn't love this school more. From the principal down to the teachers, everyone there does an amazing job and my son is excelling. We are big fans of this school and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
Posted by a parent on 11/10/2020Wilder is great. We have a 5th and 3rd grader there. The staff from principal down to individual teachers are great. The PTO does a great job to get all the parents involved and my kids like going to school (well most mornings..) I'm proud of the teachers and Mrs Dalton should be proud of the staff morale she has achieved.
Posted by a parent on 3/18/2018My children have had awful experiences at Wilder, glad to be leaving. Bullying to the point of physical injury (my 2nd grader returned home from school twice with a black eye swollen shut), cliques (almost seem to be encouraged as the administration allows certain parents to choose their child's teacher and friends in classroom year after year), advanced/GT course placement preferences (was told by the principal there was no longer room for my child in GT math even though he still qualified. Was able to fight to have him put back in the following year after being advised it was illegal for the school not to make room for him). Several families have pulled their kids from Wilder in the last few years due to similar experiences and the administrations apparent lack of concern and accountability even though they are well aware of these situations.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe entire staff at this school is amazing. From the receptionists, to the gen-ed teachers, to the autism-specific SPED teachers and aides, all were amazing with my son. We're going to miss them all greatly.Parent Review1y ago - Moody Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHonestly overall amazing school. I’m a former student here (currently a high school student). I feel like the teachers always do a great job in trying to include everyone and make it fair, though some teachers do have very clear favorites in the class. The school really tries to involve fun into the learning, through many field trips and experiences. I’ll list a few. Market day in 2nd grade, growing butterflies in 3rd grade, taking a trip to the museum in 4th grade, Ameritowne in 5th grade, outdoor lab in 6th grade. All of these experiences have been AMAZING. This school really pushed me above what I ever expected, and gave me so many memories that I cherish. 100% recommend this school. It was my 2nd family. It also helped me grow a lot academically. I came into CHE not knowing a single English word, or how to do any type of math. I left it being one of the best readers/writers in my class and doing math a grade level above mine. Best elementary school ever.Other Review8mo ago - Front Range Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfriendly school, especially for upper grades. They have become increasingly difficult to work with over the years, making it more difficult for their homeschool population. Initially there appeared to be great cooperation, but over time this Christian school continued to incrementally disallow involvement by paying Christian students in extracurricular and sports activities, not even allowing those students to have their own proms or other activities. Business is priority? Apparently fellow believers are not. I wouldn’t write this if they hadn’t proven consistent over a number of years during which we held onto an unfounded hope.Parent Review2w ago - Mackintosh Academy
