Summit View Elementary School

Northridge has been wonderful for our family. Two of our children have "needs" requirements and they go above and beyond to make sure they are meeting and exceeding expectations. They are family oriented and even teachers our children haven't had, say hello and chat. They love their students and work very hard to make their learning environment amazing.

It sucked 17 years ago and hasn't gotten any better. They lack communication, acknowledgement of issues and fail to provide safety to my kids. I think the leadership of this school should be replaced.

This school has gone so downhill over the past few years. Extremely liberal agenda with poor teachers. Not a loving school. Also they make it seem hard to get into but anyone I know who unfortunately decides to send their kids here, gets in.

Arrowwood is an incredible school with an amazing staff and a truly supportive community. The teachers are caring, dedicated, and go above and beyond to make sure every student feels seen, supported, and excited to learn. There is a strong sense of connection between families, staff, and leadership, which makes a huge difference in the overall experience.The programs offered are engaging and thoughtfully designed, and the leadership team does a fantastic job creating a positive, welcoming environment for both students and parents.The only area for growth is additional resources and support for students with dyslexia. While the staff is caring and does their best, more specialized support would make an already great school even better.Overall, we feel very lucky to be part of the Arrowwood community and highly recommend it to other families.

All 3 of my kids went to BCE and had some of the highest test scores in high school. No need for private or charter when you live near this great public school. Spend the extra 30min you’ll save in commuting reading with your kids and they’ll be far ahead.
