Shawsheen has seen amazing growth in student learning and achievements over the past 2 years. The staff take pride in the relationships they have with students and families. Posted by a principal on 3/25/2017My child came home with scratches on her face, no one seemed to know anything about them also had bumped her lip on playground, causing it to bleed - no call from Health Office. No problem w/teachers, great music teacher, questionable SPED program.

The 2010/2011 principle is gone so now we look forward to Shawsheen becoming a happier place for the students once again. Mr. Scovil ROCKS and I am so pleased that my children have had the opportunity to have these years with him.

I sent all of my children to this school and have 2 returning after the new school in built for 7th and 8th graders. Playground was upgraded and the free resources they help with and give our children. I'm looking forward to it for many years to come. I have had several of my kids go through Scott and over the years I have seen the lack of care of student well-being go down the drain. I saw my youngest child get bullied several times, and when I asked if the teacher did anything, they would but had no support from the top people running the school! The teachers look tired and stressed and unhappy, yet I see they do what they can for my kids. I am disgusted with how the principal has run things, from what I understand and even saw the bullies are not punished and it makes the kids not doing anything wrong feel miserable.
