I have had 2 children attend this school, (1 currently and 1 previously). Both kids excelled with the help of the wonderful staff. They have smaller class sizes, which in turn results in more 1 on 1 time with teachers and students! Both of my kids are extremely smart and GES offers an excellent G/T

Gilcrest Elementary is currently experiencing tremendous growth. In fact, it has recently been designated as a "Performance School" (9/2013) based on the most recent state assessment results. This is the highest designation Colorado schools can attain. Gilcrest Elementary has moved from Turnaround,

This school always seems to be behind compared to other schools in the area. 2 years ago we were a turnaround school (lowest ranking by the state), and now we are just above that.
