As a parent, I would highly recommend High Point Academy to other families. This school has gone through many positive transitions this year that truly reflect a commitment to meeting student needs, supporting teacher growth, and delivering high-quality instruction to all students.I made the decision to switch my son to High Point in January, and the growth I’ve seen in him since then has been tremendous. He is more confident, engaged, and excited about learning, which speaks volumes about the supportive environment the school provides.I am very pleased with our experience as a family and feel optimistic about the direction High Point Academy is heading. It’s clear that the staff is dedicated to continuous improvement and student success, and I’m grateful to be part of this school community. As a parent it is our job to advocate for our students and learn more about the school, volunteer, and support the school!

My child has had a wonderful experience at the school so far. The teachers are attentive and supportive, and my child feels excited to go to school every day. The curriculum seems well-rounded, and I've noticed significant improvement in their learning. One suggestion I have is to increase communication about upcoming events. Overall, we're very happy with the school and appreciate all the hard work the staff puts in.

I believe this school has promise if they focus on what is important, education. It seems their main focus is to obtain more students from outlying areas to receive more funding per head. However, these outlying areas seems to have brought in students who's families don't appreciate education and are simply sending their children there as a day care. What unfortunately contributes to this overall lack of good order and discipline is that some of the faculty members degrade & scream at the younger children, which our, and other families, witnessed first hand! Children are not only there to learn the curriculum, but as well what society deems acceptable. Teachers are a mentor to young minds, displaying these type of uncheck emotions detracts from a positive learning experience and what is socially acceptable.What makes this worse is, from our experience, that the multiple troubled children are not held accountable. They're a continued problem that other students have also stated impede their learning experiences. This institution needs to identify what type of school it wants to be, before it falls into the lumped category of, "another typical Aurora school".
