4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could leave this school less than 1 star, I would. My child attended this school since Kindergarten. Child is now in 5th grade. The school was alot better when they were in some of the younger grades, particularly pre-pandemic. Ever since that time the school has been awful. One of the post-pandemic years, my child was given a medical test without my knowledge or consent. I was not notified thereafter, I had to find out about it from my child. When I brought this up to the principal, she said she took it seriously but no repercussions were ever faced to my knowledge by the nurse who administered it. And she is still there at that school. This year alone, my child has gotten a concussion from being punched by another student, has been consistently humiliated and bullied by his teacher (and the teacher has told the kids that they shouldn't say anything to their parents about what is going on), my child has been talked to about medical-related things when I am not there and had not been notified this was taking place. My child has heard threats from another child directly about committing a shooting of the school and the parents were not notified or informed that any such threat had taken place, my child has been directly threatened and bullied by other students. My child is not informed of assignments that need to be completed, seemingly for the express purpose of exclusion from fun events. The teacher and the principal have talked with condescension towards me when I simply ask questions that are fair given the circumstances and try to use things like, "HIPPA" as reasons not to communicate with parents about serious occurrences- apparently because they believe I do not know what HIPPA is or how it works (as most of the kids that go to that school do not have parents where English is their first language so I guess they think they can get away with lying to parents.) Academically, the education is awful, if your child is a native English speaker. Teacher is lazy and refuses to help students with questions and work that they might not understand. And the administration does not hold their staff accountable for anything. The communication is atrocious. Events are disorganized. Information about events are confusing, vague, contradictory or not sent out in a timely manner so as a parent or family member, you have a hard time being involved. It seems to be by design. I am moving my child out of this school for next year. Do not send your children here.Parent Review2y ago4 Reviews - Welby Community School of the Arts

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been at this school for kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade. The teachers and staff are great. My daughter loves it here. She will be back next year for 3rd grade. The school has been around for a long time and I think that's why the rating is so low. One of the comments I seen were from 2013. But it seems there has been a lot of changes. The principal Ms.cahill is great we love her. No complaints so far!Parent Review1mo ago4 Reviews - North Star Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has low ratings and I just don't understand why. This school is outstanding. My daughter who is in middle school this year is far above the other kids who came from other elementary schools and my youngest who was in the SSN department has amazing support. Ma y of the teachers have become close friends as well. This school supports in everyway possible and then some. The education is above par and the teachers really care. We live in the apartments close by, which is not the best neighborhood, but stayed for seven years only because of this school. I highly recommend it.Parent Review3y ago6 Reviews - Metropolitan Arts Academy

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been there since kindergarten he is about to go to 7th grade. The teachers and office staff make this school an amazing experience, wether it's with learning Math and every subject to being there for their students when life is not treating them nice. Metropolitan arts academy is by fat the best school.Parent Review2y ago8 Reviews - Colorado Sports Leadership Academy
