we park in the hug and go and i got out and went to say by to my kids and the principal came out and yelled at me i would not recommend this school
Posted by a parent on 8/22/2025The admin at this school look for themselves first and not the students or the staff. Violent and misbehaving students are kept in class and are always sent back to the classroom to disrupt the flow of teaching. There is a disconnect between what teachers need and what admin want.

My kids have had great relationships with their teachers - both in preschool and big kids school. Teachers and administrators are engaged and proactively communicate with parents. We love Secrest Elementary!

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKids would make fun of my kid and she would tell because its happened almost all year, and all the teachers and staff would do is talk the students. It was the same kids all year that would make fun for her. The thing that make it worst is that it was boys messing with a girl to the point that she came crying home.
