They let the kids do whatever they want. They will be on their phones during recess. Say cuss words, bully each other, and nobody does nothing. I seen it and heard it.

I have been in CVUSD for 14 years now, with the oldest in College, one in 11th grade and the youngest in 2nd grade I know I can count
Posted by a community member on 4/13/2016This school really doesn't have a secured environment seems like they lack on even caring for your kids belongings adding more stress as a parent for you to worry about your child going to school and having his or her belongings being stolen without no actions being taken.

He attended the "pre-school" unit, named the children's center, which is in Covina unified public pre-school. My son had an issued being bullied by the other students. I spoke with the teacher and gave her the name

I have two boys, one that went from PreK-8th at CLS and is now in HS earning straight As and my youngest son who started in PreK and is now in 5th grade and thriving. The years at CLS have been wonderful. My husband and I have volunteered at the school and have become friends with the teachers and staff. We enjoy the fact that class sizes are small and the educational program is top notch. CLS provides STEM, art and music programs and a wonderful library which are sadly being cut at public schools. Even though we are not Lutherans the faith based curriculum focuses on raising children with Christian values.
