I had two students who went to Crestwood my oldest was bullied the entire time she was there and the most that happened was she was told to do was switch her friend group (they had the same friends) I ended up switching her to a charter school for Jr High because of this. My son had about the same

Posted by a parent on 7/17/2021In the many different years that I have been involved with Crestwood I have had different thoughts about this school. As the years have passed I have to say it has gotten worse. The people in the office are the problem, not the teachers as their hands seem to be tied.

My son attended for two years after transferring from Tulare, starting in 1st grade and staying through most of 2nd grade.His 1st-grade teacher was truly outstanding—she communicated consistently, kept us well-informed, and really supported his growth. His 2nd-grade teacher was also great, and it’s clear that the staff genuinely care about their students. On the rare occasions when any issues came up, his teachers always went above and beyond to address them quickly and thoughtfully.The after-school program leaders are also amazing, caring individuals who made a big impact on my son’s experience. He truly enjoyed being at school each day, which speaks volumes.The school does an excellent job with family engagement. They host all the classic events like Back-to-School Night, Open House, Fall Carnival, Moms and Muffins, Dads and Donuts, and Grandparents Day—events the kids really look forward to. They also go above and beyond with activities like Bingo Night, Math Night, and Reading Night, which make learning fun and inclusive for families.We were sad to leave due to a move, and we will truly miss having him at this school.
