Liberty Elementary School

Moved last year from Buena Park, CA like other families I was so worried for my son education. I applied for Discovery Elementary however it was full for the year. We ended up at Parkview which is our home school. My son was one of the student that struggled with covid education at home and made him behind. He started 3rd grade here in the HD and I am more then pleased with Ms.S she is an amazing teacher, caring and made the transition easy for the kids.

Discovery School of the Arts Elementary has been an incredible part of my daughter's life for the past seven years. From the very first day, the teachers, staff, and administration have created a supportive, nurturing, and inspiring environment where students are encouraged to learn, grow, and express themselves creatively.What sets Discovery apart is their commitment to both academic excellence and the arts. My daughter has been given countless opportunities to explore her talents, build confidence, and develop a genuine love for learning. The teachers truly care about each student and go above and beyond to ensure they succeed, both academically and personally.Throughout the years, I have watched my daughter flourish into a confident, responsible, and creative young person. The positive relationships she has built with her teachers and classmates have made her elementary school experience unforgettable. The school's dedication to fostering kindness, respect, and a strong sense of community has made a lasting impact on our family.As a parent, I am incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and education my daughter has received at Discovery School of the Arts. It has been a blessing to be part of such a caring and inspiring school community. Nothing negative to say about this school.

I would not recommend this school my daughter has been bullied over and over again and I went to the teacher. She told me “she needs to learn how to defend yourself.“ which made me very mad another thing my daughter had an accident at school because the teacher said carpet time is my time and did not let her use the restroom and then another thing. My daughter told her not once but twice that she did not feel good and told her all you’ll be fine just go lay down later on when I went to go pick her up, I had to take it to the emergency room because she had allergic reaction. I went to the principal and the principal did nothing.

The teachers don't know certain math formulas and change the subject on hard things. The teachers also are very mean and threaten to turn a good grade into a zero. The teachers think of us students as people that are lower than them, " they are above you so listen to what they say" said one of the teachers.
