Read what parents are saying about Dennis G. Earl Elementary SchoolMy daughter went to Denis Earl and had a wonderful experience. The teachers were great!! She went to Turlock Jr High after and excelled in all subjects. Very nice school.
Posted by a parent on 8/19/2021The staff is very helpful, well informing, and organized. The teachers are so goal oriented, the structure at this school is good. I enjoy seeing my son wanting to share his day, talk about homework, his teacher is so good at her job
Posted by a parent on 12/9/2019My daughter was new to this school when she was in the fifth grade and she strongly disliked her experience because she was treated poorly. One day she was minding her own business and all of a sudden she was pushed to the ground by a male classmate. Her knee was also severely scraped. She told her teacher about what happened, and her reply was "Well, its not bleeding!" and she did absolutely nothing about it. The boy was also not disciplined for what he did. Throughout the rest of her elementary experience, she was constantly picked on by others while the staff didn't really do anything for her. (The vice principal at the time wasn't very friendly as well) I do not recommend taking your children to this mess.
Posted by a parent on 12/29/2015Prior to attending Dennis Earl, my children attended an elementary school in Carlsbad, CA that achieved a Great Schools "10" rating. Unfortunately, this school taught strictly to API testing. Once my children had mastered their grade level, they were left bored and unchallenged. What a difference at Earl. The teachers have been amazing and continue to push both my kids beyond grade level. My 3rd grader has gone from bored and disinterested to excited to learn, again. Be careful when evaluating schools by numbers. Dennis earl is an amazing school with leadership staff and teachers that truly care about your child's education.

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy Daughter have been at Walter Brown elementary school since kindergarten. She is now in the fifth grade and I have not seen any progress in her curriculum or in her education at all to be honest her education and curriculum have went downhill. I have spoken with the teachers I have had a meeting with the vice principal to see how we can help my daughter get further in her education. Yes, she has went up on her reading, but as far as everything else I’m not understanding every time I get a report card all she has ones and twos but she is always bringing home 100% on her math work 80% on her math work but then when I get her report card it’s like whoa what happened to the hundred percent where is the grade average at? I’m not understanding and I’m kind of getting fed up so I don’t know what I’m gonna do as far as am I going to take her out of Walter Brown or am I going to leave her at Walter Brown, because this is just not acceptable kids that are struggling should get attention so they can do better not get put to the side so they can keep failingParent Review1y ago - Sandra Tovar Medeiros Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does not deal with bullying at all. I am a student at this school currently, and they do not care about mental health at all. They only care about education and being paid. They don’t care about how you feel and only a couple of the teachers are nice.Parent Review2y ago - Walnut Elementary Education Center
