Read what parents are saying about Frank Kohn Elementary SchoolThis is such a terrible school ! Avoid sending your kids to this school. Kids get bullied constantly and the principle does nothing to avoid it. I don’t understand why she’s a principle if she’s not willing to help students and parents.
Posted by a parent on 3/10/2022This is a great school. My son has been going there since kindergarten. I have moved to Lindsay and then to Hanford, however, I drive my son to school on a daily basis. I would not dream of making him change school. This school is worth the drive.
Posted by a parent on 7/16/2020There are great teachers but also lazy ones. They send out a text when your student has mist class work and or homework but that's it no explanation of witch class or assignment. So we email the teachers with no response. How can help my student and the teachers if the won't respond. I honestly fill this is a specific teach problem. Most the teachers there have a good working relationship with the perents.
Posted by a parent on 3/24/2017Tulare City School District has given me less faith and pride in my community than I would ever have imagined possible prior to having school-aged children. While asking teachers throughout the district what they can be sure of concerning Tulare City Schools, each one has stated that it is a game of politics. I have come to believe them. The district administrators seem to be driven by money and power. Teachers are overworked and resources scarce as a result. Higher salaries for teachers supplement sufficient working conditions, leaving my children to pay the ultimate price. How is this leveling the playing field? My children are losing out on an education which builds 'confidence' and 'creativity' because teachers feel they need to cut corners in order to get through the day. Education serves as the foundation and building blocks of the community. I'm not so sure what our community is building anymore.
Posted by a parent on 12/9/2014My son has attended Kohn for 2 years now. It has the best learning enviroment and staff I could have ever ask for. My son has a special medical condition and the nurse and office staff go above and beyond to make sure he is well taken care of. I am glad we live in the district and would want my kids to attend any other school.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll of my three kids have gone to this school. We all love it and miss it very much. I love all of he Wilson teachers and their attention to all of their kids at school. I would have loved for my kids to stay there but I tried another school in Tulare and I did not like it at all. They are in Visalia now but I they are coming back. See you next school year Wilson. God Bless you all the time!!!!Other Review8y ago - Cypress Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have been attending Cypress for the last couple of years. They love every aspect of this school, from the great kids to the administration. Mr Bates has made a wonderful impact on this school and it shows in how happy the kids and teachers are.Parent Review4y ago - Mission Valley Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt was my child's first year on campus and due to COVID there was not much on campus access, so it is hard to rate the school in its entirety. However, I did have easy access to the teachers. TK teacher was great! She was friendly and communicative. The Kindergarten teacher did not communicate as much and was not to approachable but was available and responded via the square app. There was not much opportunity for school involvement, again because of COVID, so hopefully as things improve that will no longer be an issue.Parent Review1y ago - Tulare Christian Scjp;;
