The athletic programs are decent, although the high turnover of alpine coaches makes it hard for any athletes to really succeed, and many get burnt out on ski racing by their senior/2nd u18 year. The head of school is constantly changing, and there is incredibly high turnover amongst mixh of the support staff. Some of the teachers are great, but don't get the support they need to have a comprehensive curriculum. Others seem to be there just for an easy check, as they don't require teaching credentials. The residential/boarding program is a joke; they've been through at least four "leads" in as many years. My daughter called home multiple times in tears because she felt alone and unsupported in the dorm. Some of the other residents were great and very supportive of her, but it shouldn't fall on her peers to be the only ones holding her up. The food is about what you would expect. Passable, but they do not live up to their claims of a healthy and nutritional diet built for athletes. They claim to have a great legacy of athletes that have gone on to do great things, when in reality only a handful over the years have even kept up with competitive skiing after graduating. For the price of an ivy league school I expected much better.
