This is a life changing educational environment for young children. Both my children have thrived socially, emotionally and educationally at Montessori one. The teachers and staff are exceptional, the campus is beautiful, it provides a nurturing and loving learning environment. Montessori pedagogy is child led and creates a life long love of learning and encourages a strong sense of self and confidence in abilities. This school is a gift.

Carden has a great preschool and nice new facility. Classrooms are clean and bright, but I’m going to have to agree with the other people here who say I it lacks a warm touch. My kid isn’t happy here and thinks it’s too strict as well. He mentioned that if someone speaks in class the teacher tells them she’s sending themto the principals office. It just seems a bit over the top with discipline. My kids class has 11 kids and I know of 5 families who have applied and have been accepted at other schools. Seems like a lot of people are jumping ship. My kid has a nice group of friends so he’s hesitant to leave but we likely will in time. About the story below regarding the bathroom policy. My kid is in the class and the situation is that the teacher hands out Pom poms if a kid answers a question correctly. If a child collects five Pom poms they get a prize so everyone wants to hold onto the pom pom. But in order to go to the bathroom they have to give it up. So no one wants to go to the bathroom. Again— goes back to how overly strict the school is. Parents have complained and the argument is that they need this policy because kids keep trying to leave the classroom. But why are 6 year olds trying so hard to leave the classroom? Speaks to how unhappy they are
