Our son is currently a 3rd grader at VES and is soaring due to the commitment and care given by all of his teachers and the incredible staff. He, and his peer group, are continuously challenged, listened to, and supported. Plus, they're given the opportunity to have fun while learning. It's a wonder

The principal is more concerned with stroking her ego by making sure everyone calls her Dr and making the entire school write her praise letter than fi

I couldn't have asked for a better education or experience, especially when I compare it to my experience in high school and that style of learning and teaching. SLS teaches you a multitude of skills and ideas desperately needed in our society: critical thinking, compassion, empathy, artistic expression, and a well-rounded view of the world.
