Stockton Baptist School

I am writing this review as a parent who feels completely let down by this school. My son, who has autism, was failed not just academically, but emotionally and developmentally. Despite his diagnosis and our repeated efforts to advocate for him, the school chose to disregard the professional evaluations and insisted that his behavioral challenges were not related to his autism.Instead of providing the understanding, accommodations, and support he was legally entitled to, the school’s staff seemed more interested in labeling him as a “behavior problem.” This lack of compassion and awareness caused unnecessary stress for our entire family and, most importantly, made my son feel isolated and misunderstood.We expected a supportive environment that valued neurodiversity, but what we experienced was the opposite. I hope the administration takes a serious look at how they handle students with special needs, and I strongly urge other parents of autistic children to ask tough questions before enrolling their child here.Our children deserve better — they deserve to be seen, heard, and supported.

I love this school. If you are looking for a school with a small town feeling then this is it! The Principle knows every kids by name along with most parents that come in regularly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My daughter has been here for 5 years and my son 3 years. There have been some minor frustrations with teachers over the years which is normal but there are some of the best teachers here. They have some great intervention programs. The PTA is very active and loves to put on events/programs. They are switching their testing styles next year so please don't judge them fully by these negative comments below from years ago. Do research and visit the school.

My son graduated from VSA 2 years ago and I highly recommend it to parents. School administration is strong, teachers are very supportive and the front of stuff are helpful.

My daughters have been going to the school for 4 years. They love it and we enjoy the family events they host. The staff is great with communicating.

Mosher is a wonderful school! The principal and teachers really care about the students and they make learning fun. They promote life skills, perfect attendance and working to excel. Surprised to read the negative, definitely not my impression of the school. A+ to Mosher
