My son and I love this school. Everyone is so supportive and amazing. They really take the time to get to know each student and ensure their success, safety, and emotional wellbeing.

I’m a seasoned parent with my oldest graduating high school this year. This is now the second full year under our current principal, and I’ve grown increasingly concerned. While she started off seeming engaged—walking around the campus and interacting with students—it’s become clear that there’s a serious lack of discipline under her leadership.At first, I appreciated her presence, but then my child began coming home with concerning stories. Students are being openly disrespectful to yard duty staff, using foul language, even physically kicking others. Yet, the only consequence they seem to receive is a “good talking to.” There’s no real accountability or follow-through.What’s more troubling is how dismissive and passive the principal is when parents or students bring up legitimate concerns about behavioral issues. Her focus seems to be on being seen as a “fun” principal, but that approach is wearing thin. The truth is, what’s keeping the school functioning is the commitment of the PTA parents and the dedication of the teachers. But how long can they sustain that level of support without burnout—especially as students move on to other schools?I’m not the only one noticing this. I’ve spoken with other parents—from first grade through fifth—and they’re seeing the same issues. We all want a nurturing and joyful environment for our children, but that has to include structure, accountability, and respect.

We have been thrilled with our experience at Park View Elementary School, where my child has been a student since kindergarten. We gladly make the drive every day, even though it's not our home school, because the environment is so nurturing and inclusive.The dedicated teachers genuinely care about the students' academic and emotional well-being, consistently going above and beyond their job descriptions to help the kids succeed. They provide engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles and ensure that each student feels valued. Additionally, the yard supervisors do an amazing job ensuring the kids' safety. They connect with all the students, know their names, and treat them as if they were their own, showing they truly care about their well-being.Park View has also been adding more family-focused events, such as the recent "Lunch with a Loved One" for Valentine's Day. It was a fantastic way to celebrate the holiday with my son while he was at school and foster connections among families.The inviting Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) fosters a strong sense of community, organizing events that bring families together. The school also offers fantastic after-school programs free of charge, allowing kids to explore their interests and develop new skills.With a focus on character development that promotes kindness and respect, along with well-maintained facilities and excellent communication, Park View Elementary is a fantastic place for children to learn and thrive. We highly recommend it to any parent seeking a supportive educational environment!

Great school, one of the best elementary schools in town. Great and friendly teachers, high expectations, and a lot of homework.
