Read what parents are saying about Garden Grove Elementary SchoolGarden Grove has made the elementary school process feel so inclusive. Not only do they support my student but they invlove us as his family. They are so informative. The Principal Mrs. Feinstein truly cares about all her students and goes above and beyond to make them all heard and supported! I applaud each and every teacher for their encouring and endless hard work! Excited for the years to come.

Posted by a parent on 5/23/2017Great school!! We love it!! My 9-year old son has been attending this school since second grade and every teacher has been great. I really wish we had started sooner. The Principal, Mrs. Feinstein, and teachers are very dedicated and always willing to improve and work hard for the best of our children. This is a school that attends special needs and their kindness and sensitivity shows all over. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Posted by a parent on 9/30/2016I had to post when I read the only negative comment about a late teacher, I have twins at this school (two teachers per grade per year). I have not seen a late teacher in 7 years, also the kids follow their respective teachers into their classrooms in the morning. The IMACT academy is awesome, all of the teachers at this school are outstanding. Their is strong support at after school events from the school staff. The principal is great, she has lots of experience. The teachers themselves created the IMPACT academy so the concept was not forced on them thats why it works so well. I can't say enough great things about this school.
Posted by a parent on 2/21/2015The entire staff is very dedicated to the children. Friendly and helpful to parents. The programs and activities they bring to inspire our kids are amazing. The science lady even had the parents in awe! The music man, leadership club...etc. Great school, my kids are so happy to go to school every morning! : )

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter just finished kinder and is now a proficient reader. I couldn’t be happier with how her year went academically. She felt supported by her teacher and the other kinder teachers and made wonderful friends. I feel the campus is very safe. We were in a transition year with a new principal but feel she will only bring great things this year to come.Parent Review9mo ago - Berylwood Elementary School

The teachers are excellent and very attentive to the children not to mention the office staff and principal. I have seen her get down on her knees to tie children’s shoes. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my 8th year with kids at Sycamore. I have very mixed feelings about this school. Basically, they can be broken down as the teachers are fantastic and the administration is awful. If you are considering Sycamore and think your child needs special education services, I would recommend sending them somewhere else (because they will probably not get an IEP at Sycamore.) Also, Sycamore has a LOT of combination classes. I think I have had kids in combination classes for 4 years. This year, one of my kids is in a class with 5 other students her own grade and ~22 students a different grade. However, none of my kids have had a bad teacher - they have all been great.Parent Review6mo ago - Township Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWatch out! There are a number of wonderful teachers here but also a few old school teachers that use shame and punishments as motivation. The Principal always backs the teacher. She plays favorites among the parents, students and staff. I regret sending my kids here. If you get one of the great teachers and your child doesn't need any additional support, you should be fine. If not, make sure you know your parental rights and good luck.Parent Review1y ago - Vista Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is a current student, she is on her 2nd year and enjoys going to school. Yes there is a lot of homework given, starting 1st grade but all the homework so far is of what was done that day. Some days we breeze through homework because she got it and other days we spend more time because she didn’t get it in class. So far staff have been accommodating when it comes to my child. The school has a very strong PTA and so there is many fun activities for the students all year long. The school is very big in parent participation but don’t make you feel back if you can participate as much as other parents.Parent Review2mo ago - Valley Bible Academy
