Read what parents are saying about Tunnell (Martin Luther) Elementary SchoolThis is my daughters second year at Tunnell and I have been quite happy with her teachers. The current principal I can not say the same! I'm removing my daughter from the school because of her, a very rude and angry women. It's a shame she is a loud to mistreat people the way she does.
Posted by a parent on 11/17/2014Every teacher at this school is committed to learning and seeing that every child has a fair advantage to reach their educational goals. The PTC club at this school is the BEST in the whole district. The club is filled with many hard working parents who put all the students needs first and help raise money for fun events that motivate higher learner. The principal is supportive, motivating, and fair on all levels. I had a choice to send my child to any private school here in town and after witnessing first hand the continued success of many students that have been to this school, I am glad I chose Tunnell. Yes, some students do better than others, and this can be the case at any school, but overall, the teachers that work there have all been great over the last 6 years. I wish Tunnell and it's teachers continued success in our community.
Posted by a parent on 6/5/2012Tunnell School is great! There are some wonderful and caring teachers! They do have a few teachers who act like they really do not want to be there. As a parents, you have to seriously monitor what goes on in the classroom. Make it a point to talk with your child about their day.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy parents took my little brother to school for second grade. It was his first day in school. We were watching him from outside to get his food. He didn't know he was suppose to stay inside the cafeteria and not outside at the tables. The lady in charge of breakfast pulled him by his arm and yelled at him. She was doing this to other kids who were Hispanics. As well as the lady who work at the front office short hair. She is very arrogant and was rude and getting annoyed at the parents who had questions regarding their children. The principal and her were speaking in English thinking no one in the room were able to understand. I heard they were annoyed and talking bad about the parents.Parent Review7y ago - Oakley (Calvin C.) Elementary School

I feel I can always come in if I have an questions and concerns and I will be seen and heard. It's a beautiful campus and everyone is friendly. Taylor has exceeded my expectations!Parent Review4y ago
