Buchser Middle School

Safety is the most concerning thing in this school. The business is growing by taking more students in, but it does not mean that the quality of education or wellbeing is good there. Our son was attacked by another student by kicking in a chest. The school principal even did not say she is sorry nor anyone else. The teacher could be left alone while having aggressive students in a classroom in a school where ratio is 1:1. It was great school for a couple of years under different principal, but not anymore. Not a one goal of IEP was achieved there too.

I am sorry to leave a negative review, but I wish I had read the reviews before enrolling my kids at this school. They attended for one year, and unfortunately, I do not have anything positive to say about our experience. The school feels more like a business than a place focused on education. The teachers, as well as the principal, seem very unprofessional. There is also a lot of bullying, and the school does not seem able to handle it properly, possibly because there are around 38 students in each class, which makes supervision and dealing with conflict (which is all the time) very difficult.In addition, the school does not offer any after-school activities or programs. Kids play and eat at the parking lot. Overall, our experience was not what we expected, and I would recommend that other parents carefully research before enrolling their children.

We had transferred into Saint Clare in 6th grade. My daughter initially had a good experience but sadly, she began to be bullied by her classmates. We didn’t get school support and ended up leaving mid-year. Seems like many families are leaving due to bullying.
