John F. Kennedy Elementary School

Our family has had a wonderful experience at St. Jeanne de Lestonnac. My son started in 1st grade after attending public school for TK and Montessori for preschool, and the transition was incredibly smooth. The teachers are kind, supportive, and truly invested in their students’ growth, both academically and personally. With their support, my son is now performing above grade level and feels confident in the classroom.My daughter began preschool at St. Jeanne after attending Montessori at ages 2 to 3, and she has absolutely thrived. She is happy, engaged, and clearly well prepared for kindergarten next year. Beyond academics, the sense of community really stands out. Families are welcoming, and there is a strong partnership between teachers and parents. Having had positive experiences in Catholic school myself, it is meaningful to see my children receiving the same strong foundation in faith, character, and learning. We feel very grateful to be part of the St. Jeanne community.

My family has been a part of Saint Anne School for the last 9 years and I would 100% recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a solid education in religion, STEM, and creative arts. It’s a beautiful feeling hearing my children say their prayers and speak about God. Extra points given for completing their communion and confirmation classes during school and not over our weekends. My kids also have a leg up in STEM learning compared to other SAUSD students due to their state of the art labs and curriculum. Also, their music program is unlike any other you’ll find in the city, the county, even. Seeing my kid perform in the mariachi gives me goosebumps. If you live in the surrounding area, you know that the school district is quite lacking. This school offers safety, small class sizes, and a family built into one, at an affordable price. You can’t go wrong.
