Country Club Elementary School

I attended Country Club.and have 1 child currently attending and another who recently left. Country Club is made up of a wonderful community overall, teachers are caring, the staff is helpful and the school site admin is some of the best we have encountered. This is a highly rigorous academic area so kids that have learning differences can be bullied heavily. Our oldest suffered from this to the point she switched schools and is excelling at her new school with targeted curriculum.The district is also reluctant to provide any services outside of a narrow set of prescribed interventions and tactics even when requested by the school staff, and outside experts. However the school staff, and admin are willing to go above and beyond to try and help students in any way the are allowed.My youngest has a minor, "normal" learning difference (ADHD) and the school has been a wonderful experience for her.

The teachers and staff at Country club are welcoming, supportive and passionate about the work they do. Every teacher has a unique approach to coaching the kids and children learn plenty of interpersonal and self development skills in addition to academics. The school however can incorporate more art, music and extracurricular activities.

Various initiatives and vibrant environment for kids to learn and build their early interest in academics. Love all the amazing teachers who work above and beyond to get the kids involved.

Unhelpful staff and teachers. Secretary will not help point you in the right direction to get help for your student. The problem is she is the first one to answer the phones. Extremely dismissive and rude. No teacher reaching out to parents. Waste of tax payer money.

Principle lied about whether activist teachers are employed. There is a weekly Social Justice Warrior class being given weekly and Critical Race Theory is being endorsed and cleverly disguised in word salads and double speak. People need to know "Equity" is often used in board meetings as an action word and is this is being taught throughout the district. The three Rs appear to be taking the back seat to social interventions. Teachers seem well informed and competent but I was disappointed that politics being disguised as social equity. and preferred outcome. mandates
