My child has attended Roosevelt for five years. Overall, it’s a good school — diverse, with caring and experienced teachers, a strong PTA, and a nurturing environment for children.

Roosevelt is an excellent school. The parents are very involved, lots of support from the PTA and dad’s club. Teachers and staff are friendly.

We sent our kids to this school and over the past 10 years it has slipped from a 9/10 to 5/10 on Great Schools. I mostly get the decline. PTA was run by SAHM’s 10-15 years ago and many working parents, myself included, were turned off by meetings and events held at 10am on a workday, mostly because
