Posted by a parent on 11/7/2023I was at this school for about 2 years, and the teachers aren't considerate with the students other after school activities. I had tons of homework, but had to come home at 7:30pm and 9:30 daily. Of course, I had missing assignments but the teachers didn't think about that. They just kept getting mad at us for being lazy. During class the class was fine, but it was obvious who the favorite student was (looking at you, Rachel). Another problem with this school is at the beginning of the school, there was this new student and the came from the Philippines, and barely knew any English. All the teacher had her do was sit in the back and try her best.

Strong teachers & great steam lab, art programs, school plays, extra curricular options, Math kangaroo & other Math competitive exam help etc, Principal very active and hands on and a very active PTO which actively supports and funds many activities. Teachers use good online programs to support Homework as well to give students extra practice.
Posted by a community member on 11/9/2018We have been in the for the last 5 yrs...still kids attending.. Mostly, we have good experience. Some teachers do not do their jobs well when it comes to a child w/ special needs. So, if you have one, depending on services your child might need. Think twice before you enroll. Other than that, lots of after school curriculum, which is awesone. Good luck!!
Posted by a parent on 4/22/2015Sadly, we had high hopes for this school. The academic standards are high, however I cannot say the same for the faculty. Many of the teachers are inconsiderate, brash and uncaring to say the least. When we left messages with our concerns for the principal to return our call to discuss our personal experiences in detail, we never got a return call or email. It amazes me that being polite and professional is simply not a consideration from the top down. Very disturbing and concerning for many of us parents.

The teachers here are pretty amazing just depends on which one your child gets.The principal use to be good but now I don’t know what’s going on with him. He really doesn’t do much if your child is getting bullied, he rather have your child get bullied than someone else’s. This year I’ve been experiencing exhausting situation from my child getting bullied by not just another student but by adults as well and no one in that school doing anything about it. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school is ok. My daughter is enrolled in kindergarten. Pros: she is making friends and there have not been any social issues. She’s very safe and all teachers/staff are kind. Cons: she has regressed in math and reading. There’s no way to meaningfully progress kids who are advanced when so many peers are behind, so my daughter is largely ignored. She’s so bored and drags her feet to go to school everyday. The majority go above and beyond what is required of them. The last two administrators were kind, diligent, and helpful. Our current PTA is fantastic and has been involved in our school community in a big way.
