Posted by a student on 1/5/2023I just graduated from Moreland Middle. Overall it was an average experience. Most of the teachers are good but their are a few that I've had bad experiences with. When it comes extracurriculars such as clubs and leadership the school does a good job in providing students the opportunity to participate in that. When it comes to academics, if your a good student you will not be challenged here. The school gives little to no homework. The teachers have to teach according to the academic level of the students and most of the students here are not driven or average, but their are some that are great students. If you're a good student Moreland is not your best option.
Posted by a community member on 7/23/2021This middle school is not the best in academics. There is no homework at all, except a bit math homework. This school does not preparing kids for high school at all. Very sad…
Posted by a parent on 2/25/2018This school is not so good. The teachers don't care and kids can't keep there hands to themselves. The kids also have to put some deodorant or take a shower because they smell B-A-D.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has attended this school since 1st grade. They are now in 7th grade. Elementary school was fantastic - good teachers who had their hearts and minds focused on growth and development of their students. I find that middle school is a big miss. They hire sub-par teachers who don't have the experience teaching middle school, have limited experience teaching and helping the students learn the material. and the administration lacks in providing support to those students who are bullied or treated poorly by other students. We initially chose this school for the family-feel the school offered and again for grade school, it was outstanding. Middle school has definitely fallen short of our expectations. Middle school is such a critical time in the development of children and it's a shame more attention hasn't been provided to service the group of kids.Parent Review2mo ago - Trust Montessori School
