For any prospective TK students and parents for next school year 2014/2015, I urge you that if you can avoid this school then do. My child is still

I really look forward to meeting her 2nd grade teacher and very excited to see what new things she will learn this yea

There are just some teachers who seem not to care about a childs education. they know there's a problem with a child and as a parent you ask for help and all they could say is; ' Your the parent' ,

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in the 4th grade at Oak Ridge. We've had an amazing experience and have liked all 5 teachers that they've had. My daughter loves the school and is happy to go and learn. Teachers and the Principal are accessible. The school and staff are friendly with us and the parents participating in the home and school club create an atmosphere. I don't understand the extremely negative recent reviews, but I'm hoping it's the 1 star and 5 star dichotomy of most reviews. I can also understand parents trying to protect their kids from bad experiences. Im glad they didn't accept my kid i was upset at first because he has been in this school since k-2 suddenly idk why he was assigned to another school. I talked to the disctrict about it and they said it is up to Anderson school if they accept him. From what? he is always been in anderson school even though thier reason is “out of range” googled map it it is closer to my residence than the other school that my kid that they accidentally assigned. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll 5 of my daughters attended voices. Voices used to be a great school until Hugo became principal. It’s as if all he cares about is shoving LGBTQ down kids throats. Our daughter is in 6th grade and at a 2nd grade level. How they kept passing her and didn’t bother to tell us she had issues is beyond me. They would always say how obedient and sweet she was but left out the part that she was behind academically. I hope voices gets a qualified principal and staff in there and brings back the potential the school once had. Bring back the mandatory belts and structure back to the school!! We will be sending our daughter to another school next year and our son WILL NOT BE ATTENDING this school unless things change!Parent Review4mo ago
